Would you Date Yourself

OnlineDatingSitesAndServices.com is a well-known online dating site that evaluates what is available on the internet in the dating field. They now published this post that I wrote for Valentine's Day: I recommended to have a good look at yourself first before you go on a dating / husband shopping spree.
Nice to see your articles in print and get some traction.  Often one has to do some soul searching and come to terms with one’s own advantages and shortcomings before one is ready to evaluate others and their suitability. Spread the word.
Happy Reading and Happy Dating.

A Salacious Read

The last review I got for my book was a bit different. Bella Luna, while she liked the book, admitted like feeling like a voyeur at times. She called a romp from bedroom to bedroom. Far from it.There are 2 explicit bed scenes but my heroine is in search of her soul mate and looking for real love, eventually after so many years wasted in a loveless marriages. And without losing herself in the next relationship or leaving her personality at the door of it. Then again she calls herself "maybe a bit prudish". Astonishing for a psychologist and mother of 4.Overall an entertaining book she admits with hilarious episodes: Sex in the country instead of the city. Male readers may also learn some important lessons about creating a more honest profile on dating sites, although I am a bit concerned that Cherie's lovemaking standards might intimidate some of them. Woe to any shy creatures who dare to tread these pages! If that didn't spark your curiosity!

Another Dating Sites features Next Time Lucky

Just learned that another dating sites today features my book Next Time Lucky and posted one of my blogs: How to find a Mate:http://onlinedatingsitesandservices.com/dating-news/ . They also review dating sites the likes of eHarmony,   SeniorFriendFinder, Friendfinder, and Perfect Match.  For the more adventures among you they review  Passion .com and AdultFriendFinder.com. Take a look!
Lucas Owen on that site evaluates how these sites work, which advice they give you and how much they cost. Very useful information indeed for everybody contemplating to sign up with one. Now it's up to you how you get started. It's a matter of personal tastes, of course, but also good to know that independent people keep an eye on them and write about them.

Dating Tips for the over 40s

If you're over forty and want to get back into the dating game, read on please. If you're just out of a long relationship or haven't dated in a while, you probably even dread the fact to put yourself out there again. After all, you once knew how to do it, having been there before, but your skills are a bit rusty.
This happens to most people who find themselves single again unexpectedly or against their own volition. Are your friends telling you it's time to get over him and date again? the pressure is on. You hate to be single again, hate lonely evenings in front of the TV, and most of your friends are not available to go out. The thought of being alone for Thanksgiving and the holidays makes you want to reach for another glass of red and drown your sorrows again.
No man in the gym who seems to be single? You don't have a dog to chat up other dog owners with in the park, and the clientele in your local Starbucks doesn't look promising? How many new hobbies can you take up in order to get into the right mix where singles go? If you are lucky, your town has club for over THIRTIES where you don't feel like a fish out of water. And a friend or two to go with you.
So if you're sure you're ready for this and want to date instead of wait any longer, there is the option of getting on the Internet and the Cyber Highway to Love.
I was there. Believe me, it takes some nerve to throw yourself into the ring. But stretching your comfort zone is necessary. Opportunity doesn't do home deliveries and Mr. Right or even Right Now won't be knocking on your door unless you let him know that you're ready for action and available again. Boot up your computer and get connected! In more than one sense. Be open! Anything could happen! I'll help you along to navigate this fast track to coupledom.

Odyssey of a cyberdater

I was torn between titles for this memoir: This one pretty much sums up what it is about: A captivating, sassy read for anybody divorced or recycled out in the dating trenches, looking for a second chance-for mature cyberdaters...older than 30...:}. Then I decided on Next Time Lucky...without the implication of "getting"lucky -- the way it was understood here by some Southern friends. I wanted to get the message across that you keep trying until you are lucky with your new-found object of desire and deep-felt love. Since I never gambled, the old German adage didn't worry me: you're either lucky in love or in gambling. Let me know if you can relate to this or have been luckier in one of the two but not the other. That would be fun to do some research- if only anecdotal.
